Digital Kitchen Scale Buckets with lids (3) Hand held Mixer Strong Soap (YES) Pigment Water Eggs Flaxseed Oil (Refined) Spatula
Mix Your pigment with water
Add 500 grams of water to your pigment and mix with a mixer for 2 min. Put the lid on the bucket and let it sit for at least 12 hours.
How Much Pigment?
If you buy pigment it will tell you how much to use on the package. If you make your own pigment most often you will use between 290 and 410 grams.
How much pigment you need depends on the color and consistency of the paint.
Measure 250g Eggs
One egg is approximately 50 grams. Because all eggs are not the same size and weight you will always add whole eggs. It will be more than the recepie calls for, but this is ok.
(If you buy your pigment check the instructions for how many eggs.)
Check how many grams of eggs you have. Add the same amount of oil.
Measuring Oil and Eggs
If you have 163 grams of eggs after adding the last whole egg, then add 163 grams of oil.
Mixing Eggs and Oil
Mix the eggs and oil until it has the consistency of mayonnaise.
Pour the eggs and oil mixture into the pigment-water and mix for at least 2 min.
Enjoy your paint!
Don't forget to store it in the fridge when not in use!
